Some Facts About Ajmer and Pushkar:

Ajmer is the fifth largest city in Rajasthan and is well known for two places of religious significance. An ancient Hindu pilgrimage dedicated to Lord Brahma at Pushkar and Dargah Shariff, the famous shrine of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Ajmer is surrounded by Aravali Mountains; it is approximately 135 Kms. from Jaipur ( the capital city of Rajasthan ). The two shrines attract many travelers all around the year. Ajmer is a year-round destination, however the best time to visit Ajmer is between month of October and March. The weather is pleasant during this time. The average temperature from October to February can range between 15 to 18 degree Celsius. On some days, the temperature can go as low as 5 degree Celsius.

During Summers from March to May, it is extremely hot at Ajmer / Pushkar, the maximum temperature on a sunny day can go beyond 40 degree Celsius. During Monsoon season from June to September, the green environment looks beautiful and is a pleasant place to be at during this period of the year.

Pushkar is approximately 14 Kms. from Ajmer. As per Hindu mythology, when the wife of Lord Shiva (Bhagwan Shiv) Sati died, Shiva Ji cried so much that it created holy ponds at two places on earth; one at Pushkar in Ajmer. Pushkar lies on the shore of Pushkar Lake and has many temples but it is most famous for Bramha Temple. The Pushkar lake has 52 ghats and is also famous for Camel Fair held in November every year.

• Only 1 Pick-up / Drop Point Available. If Multiple Pick-ups / Drops are to be done, Rs.200/- charged per extra pick-up / drop point.
• The fare is inclusive of Toll Tax and Driver Allowance.
• The fare is for vehicle with Air-Conditioning facility.
• If vehicle halted for more than 30 minutes of reporting time, Rs.200/- charged per hour thereafter.

Terms of Jaipur Ajmer Outstation Taxi:

1. Ajmer Sightseeing Places: Our taxi takes you to Dargah Shariff, Adhai-din ka Jhonpra Mosque and Ana Sagar Lake for sightseeing.
2. The fare is for vehicle with Air-Conditioning facility.
3. Trip should complete within 1 calendar day. If multiple calendar days are involved, fare will vary as per total no. of days.
4. Minimum Billing Per Day: 250 Kms.
5. Driver Allowance: Rs.200/- per Calendar Day, charged extra.
6. Toll charges and Parking charges charged extra, as applicable.

Terms of Ajmer Local Taxi:

1. Ajmer Sightseeing Places: All places shown below; Client can chose places to visit from below list.
2. Minimum Billing Per Calendar Day: 10 Hours.
3. Parking charges are extra, as applicable.
4. The fare is for vehicle with Air-Conditioning facility.
5. Trip should complete within 1 calendar day. If multiple calendar days are involved, fare will vary as per total no. of days.
